A winter forest scene featuring a snow-covered dirt path winding through leafless trees. The snow is partially melted and trampled, revealing patches of mud and dead leaves. The trees are bare, and the overcast sky gives the photo a muted, subdued atmosphere. The image has been slightly edited for contrast.

A quieter photo today. Snow breaking down into slush and dirt, trees bare, and everything wrapped in that soft winter stillness.

I gave this one a very light contrast boost—mainly to bring out the texture in the path and trees. Still figuring out what makes these kinds of shots feel “finished,” so I’d love any feedback—especially on tone and mood.

Shot on Canon EOS R10.
